On Friday night my grandma Josie, aunt Marie and cousin Derek came down from Monticello, Ut. for the weekend to visit. So on saturday when me and steve got off work we headed down to Provo and stayed the night. My cousin Audrey and her daughter Alexis were at my parents house as well. We were all hungry so we tried deciding on somewhere to eat, well we ended up eating at a mexican restaurant called Miranchitos. Then we got home and the boys decided to play guitar hero with the drums, microphone, and two guitars we have and everyone came upstairs to watch on grandma Lambs tv because its bigger and the room is bigger. Then on sunday morning we woke up to take Amber, Keri, John and Derek to the park by my parents house to help the two girls learn to snowboard because later that day they would be going with the boys to sundance to snowboard and didn't know how but the boys did. It was really funny to watch them get on there boards especailly cause at the park it was kinda icy so we found a few little hills for them to go down and learn to stop, and just how to ride the board. Then after that we went up to sundance and were there for about 4 hours John and Derek had fun and made a few runs and went on the lift. On the other hand Amber went on the lift with them and got stuck up there on the mountain cause she kinda hurt herself and ended up walking the rest of the way down and then Keri came along down the mountain and she also made a couple of runs. Then when Amber came down she was done so her and Audrey changed clothes so she could go try and she made it up the lift and down for one run then we left cause it was freezing and late. When we got home and everyone changed we went out to the Olive Garden for dinner before grandma, aunt Marie and Derek left to go home. It was a really fun weekend and we got some really great pictures.

Thats the end of all our holiday experiences, now its just work and relaxing. Hopefully this year we will be better at updating our blog. I know we have been really bad at it.

Steves biological dad had invited us up to his house in hooper for dinner and our christmas thing with them. So on Jan. 4th we drove up there to see him and his wife kim. When we got there kims son brandon and his wife cami and her 3 kids came over also for dinner. Kim handed us two envelopes one for steves birthday and one for christmas he got money for his birthday and we also got money for christmas. For dinner ate a turkey with potatoes, stuffing and rolls it was really good. After dinner we went downstairs and they played pool steve, his dad, kim, and brandon i sat and watched and cami and her kids played there wii with wii fit. It was really funny to watch them play pool i didn't know steve could or new how to play he did pretty good. At the end brandon and them left and chris showed up but not for long before he left and then we went ahead and left also so they could finish cleaning up and get to bed.

Steves step mom Terri invited us out to her house in Riverton for dinner and a game night just for fun. We went out about 6 and his half brother happened to be there which was great because we hadn't seen him for awhile and he is leaving here soon for the Navy. We had taco salads to eat and just sat there and visited. Then we decided to play this new game we bought called yahtzee free for all and played a couple of rounds of that, then started playing this other game called fill or bust its a dice/card game i had never heard of it before so terri explained it to us and we just kinda played around until we understood and then we started playing i really sucked and it took me forever to score, i think steve won that round then we played again and i won. We played that game till midnight and hadn't even realized the time we were having so much fun.

For New Years eve we were invited to go down to fairview to steves grandma Sue and grandpa Chuck's house. It was our Christmas with them and his aunt Kims family. So we followed his parents down and got there about 4 or so. Visited with chuck and sue for a bit and waited for kim and her family to get there so we could have dinner. When they got there his 5 year old cousin megan walked in took of her shoes and came right over and sat right next to me on the couch and started talking to me about the dogs and stuff so steves mom took a picture of it (its kinda funny for some reason she loves me and i guess a few days ago when steve saw her i wasn't there and she asked were i was she missed me). After dinner the girls were excited to open gifts especially megan who is only 5 so of course she is excited and wanted to be first. So we told her we were gonna start with the oldest and she made a comment something like ok so uncle steve is first (thats steves dad) and we just laughed cause he isnt the oldest of course. So we decided to started with the oldest girl Sarah, then Courtney, and then megan. The rest of just kinda went we both got money from his grandparents, he got two movie passes from his aunts family for his birthday and then we got the wall-e dvd from them also. After all the gifts were opened we started to play the wii they played wii sports, then wii fit and most of us just laughed at everybody especially the girls they were funny to watch play wii fit. Then we decided that we better get going it was about 10:30 and we got home just in time for midnight.

Christmas

So, it's been a while since we've had time to work on the blog. We have both been really busy with work. Justina has been working full time, and I only had about four or five days off in the whole month of December. So sorry you have not heard from us. Here's what's been going on.

On Christmas day, we started out over at my parents house. We opened our presents and then visited with my parents for a bit. I tried out the Guitar Hero World Tour guitar, and then we all decided to go visit my grandpa Richard and grandma Lynda. We ate lunch left over from their Christmas Eve party, and then sat there and visited them for a bit.

Then we headed down to Provo to see Justina's family. We got there and visited with everyone for a bit, and opened gifts. Then, as we do every Christmas with her family, we all went to a movie together. This year, we went and saw Marly & Me. It was a really good movie. Everybody liked it.

After that, we went home, and cooked dinner. Justina and I ate really quickly, because it had really started to snow. We left, and it took us almost an hour and a half to get home. The drive was not bad until we hit Lehi, and then we had wind, low visibility, and lots of snow on the roads. Luckily, most people were being safe and driving slow.
